On 7 May 2026, the Global Conversation on AI and Sustainable Health brought together 87 participants from 19 countries for an international dialogue on the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence in health systems, with particular emphasis on innovation, equity, governance, data ownership, inclusion, and the fair distribution of benefits. 

In the Global Conversation on 11 February, 92 participants from 11 countries and 15 universities listened to alumni of the Midwives and MISH programmes share how evidence-based methods, cultural understanding, and community partnerships are reducing maternal deaths, strengthening access to healthcare, and inspiring scalable innovations across vulnerable settings.

At the Global Conversations on Sustainable Health, experts from Uganda and Sweden tackled a crucial question: How can we nourish ourselves without harming the planet?
