KI hosts workshop for CESH-project for sustainable development in fragile settings

Karolinska Institutet hosted a project planning workshop within the project Building Capacity for Sustainable Development in Fragile States (SDGCap) in Stockholm on 21-22 March, 2022. The workshop aimed to ensure joint learning within the Project Lead Team and for all involved partners to have a joint reference point and the same general understanding of how the program will be managed and monitored based on the Theory of change.

The project planning team also had the chance to meet with representatives from the donor, the Swedish development agency, Sida, to discuss the five perspectives that guide Sida’s work; poverty, human rights, environment and climate, gender equality, and conflict.

The workshop ended with a meeting with Karolinska Institutet’s president, Ole Petter Ottersen. The project members from Benadir University presented an award to the President, the Appreciation Award to Karolinska Institutet in recognition of your highly valued contribution and collaboration with Benadir University.
