Workshop on Planetary Health

How can you understand Planetary Health and how it matters? Have you ever considered how your research might connect to this field? Would you be interested in exploring these questions together with colleagues from diverse disciplines in a collaborative and creative setting?

The workshop will start with the following key notes:

  • Martin Gren, Professor in Human Geography at LNU: What is planetary health, and why is it important?
  • Mathilda Tham, professor in Design at LNU, member of the Steering Committee at the Knowledge Environment Green Sustainable Development: Householding and Earth Logic Design Agency 
  • Åsa Ståhl, Senior Lecturer in Design at LNU, member of the Steering Committee at the Knowledge Environment Sustainable Health: Householding and Earth Logic Design Agency 
  • Ericka Murillo, Phd. Student at University of Costa Rica: Planetary Health Literacy and Climate Change.

To prepare for the workshop, we kindly ask you to bring a short presentation (1–2 slides) outlining your perspective on Planetary Health and how your research connects to it.

The workshop is open to researchers from the Knowledge Environment Sustainable Health as well as other researchers from Linnaeus University and other academic institutions, to foster transdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration.

The workshop will be held in English.
